Our History

The first Western regional meeting of the Decision Sciences Institute took place in May of 1971 in Sacramento, CA. Bob Hopfe served as both Board President and Program Chair. This DSI chapter continues to thrive with an annual meeting taking place each year along the west coast or Hawaii. The territories of WDSI include: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
